The challenge
Annamite is a sophisticated trading firm navigating the high-speed, high-stakes world of digital asset markets. As the firm expanded its activity, it sought a way to trade digital assets without exposing itself to the systemic risks associated with traditional crypto market infrastructure and exchange risk.
At the heart of this requirement was a need for control, safety, and speed. What they needed was secure, trusted infrastructure that could plug directly into their brokerage and execution workflows — without compromise.
The solution
Annamite Capital partnered with Zodia Custody, leveraging Interchange to pledge crypto collateral with Hidden Road.
Interchange allows institutional clients to pledge crypto collateral held in their own Zodia Custody wallets with prime brokers including Hidden Road in Zodia’s Liquidity Network.
Clients can hold collateral in safe custody with Zodia, while accessing credit to deploy and trade through the prime broker’s own platform and network.
Secure collateral setup
Assets are held in Zodia’s segregated wallets and pledged via a dedicated Interchange Collateral Wallet, protected under English trust law and locked from withdrawal once pledged.
Joint control and legal clarity
Wallets operate under a Wallet Control Agreement with Notice of Exclusive Control (NOEC) protections, enabling Hidden Road to lock assets in default scenarios – mirroring protections seen in traditional finance.
Operational efficiency
No need for pre-funding exchanges or fragmented workflows. Annamite could access Hidden Road’s credit and deploy capital without moving assets off-platform, unlocking better speed, control, and capital efficiency.
