Koichi Kano

Chief Executive Officer SBI Zodia Custody

Koichi Kano, a financial professional with over 20 years of experience in trading and organisational management at leading global financial institutions such as Citigroup, joined SBI Digital Asset Holdings in 2020. Upon joining, he has led the firm's blockchain initiatives in global projects such as Project Guardian, and successfully spearheaded negotiations to establish a joint venture with Zodia Custody. He has been the CEO since the JV's inception in April 2023.

Chihiro Yasukawa

Head of IT SBI Zodia Custody

Chihiro Yasukawa has 30+ years of experience in the financial industry (MUFG, UBS, BNP Paribas, Standard & Poor's) driving global, regulatory related initiatives across the corporate banking business, including IT, operations, bank merger, and business planning / model creation. He leads the technical conversation workstream with the local regulators.

Atsushi Yonenaga

Head of Operations SBI Zodia Custody

Since graduating with an MBA from York University with expertise in process engineering and quality control, Jerry Atsushi Yonenaga has led several start-up projects and fulfilled senior management responsibilities in major global financial institutions such as Lloyds Bank and HSBC, as well as digital asset experience at Japan's leading VASP, bitFlyer. He is the key architect of SBI Zodia Custody's operational excellence.

Yuko Tanimura

Head of CEO Office SBI Zodia Custody

Yuko Tanimura manages in accordance with the company’s strategic plan and vision, drawing on over 25 years of experience across compliance and business planning in the traditional global financial industry (Lehman Brothers, Mizuho Securities). Leading the CEO Office, she is developing and implementing business plans from the administrative side, as well as orchestrating our compliance policies, including KYC/AML.
