Product Drop: Polkadot (DOT) staking is now available

What is Polkadot staking?

Polkadot is a layer-0 network designed to connect specialised blockchains (“parachains”) into a unified, interoperable ecosystem. Its Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) model allows DOT holders to support network security by nominating validators – and earn native staking rewards when those validators remain active in the validator set.

By partnering with Zodia Custody, Polkadot Capital Group aims to educate organisations on engaging with  the ecosystem, with confidence underpinned by Zodia’s custody infrastructure that aligns with evolving regulatory expectations across major jurisdictions.

• Stake DOT directly from cold, segregated custody: assets never leave Zodia Custody’s HSM-secured environment.
• Access institutional-grade validator partners: including Blockdaemon, Everstake, Figment and Galaxy.
• Avoid asset transfers to third parties: staking occurs entirely within your Zodia Custody DOT Staking Wallet.
• Maintain full operational governance: with the same maker-checker workflows already used for other assets.

3. Approve staking instructions through your standard maker-checker workflow
4. Begin earning Polkadot network rewards
